Description
A male Hooded Merganser belts out what I like to call it's love song at Huntley Meadows Wetland in Fairfax Virginia after its mate pops into a nesting box. The Merganser puffs out its head and rocks backward while opening its beak and uttering a deep almost guttural sound.
